Sudakov, multi-awarded as the player of Ukraine in 2023

Georgy Sudakov (21 years old) ended an outstanding 2023 by winning the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). Chosen by the league’s coaches, the Player of the Year award came after a season in which he led the Shakhtar Donetsk on their way to their 14th UPL title.

The talented midfielder, who managed 16 goal contributions in all competitions in the 2022-2023 season, also received the coveted Player of the Year award this week. Shakhtar Donetsk during the team’s concentration on Antalya, Turkey.

Fernando Valente, former coach of the B team Shakhtar, also expressed similar sentiments earlier this week highlighting the immense talent of Sudakov in an interview with SportItalia.com. “I have no doubt that he will be an outstanding player.
