The best cycling teams in the worldwith the Team Visma-Bike Lease on the head, will participate in the 44th edition of the Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia Costa Cálida-Gran Premio Primafriowhich will be held on Saturday, February 10, with leaving Alhama de Murcia and ending at Gran Vía Escultor Salzillo avenue in the capital of the Community.
This Wednesday the agreement was signed in effect where the town of Alhameña will host the start of the test, which will take place from the facilities of the transport company that is its main sponsor.
At the event, some details of the exam were announced, such as: Team Visma-Lease a Bike, the winning team of the three major stage rounds in 2023 -Tour, Giro and Vuelta a España-, will travel the Murcian roads. In this way, the Netherlands team joins the last two winners of the Cycling Tour of the Region, the UAE Team Emirates (2022) and the Ineos Grenadiers (2023).

Additionally, they will participate all Spanish teams: Movistar Team, the only structure of the Spanish World Team; Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Burgos BH, Kern Pharma, Euskaltel Euskadi and Illes Balears-Arabay. Three professional riders from the Region will also pedal home: Antonio Jesús Soto, winner in 2021; Rubén Fernández and José María García.
The return was presented this Wednesday to the Alhama de Murcia City Council, the mayor, Maria Canovas; the Sports Councillor, Antonio José Sibina; the head of the Foundation, Primafrio Esther Ballester; and the general director of the race, Francisco Guzman.
