Erik Ten Hag is tired of answering every day the questions that journalists follow Manchester United they make him about the nocturnal double play of Marcus Rashford in Belfast which led to an act of indiscipline which was punished by the Dutch coach. “Case closed,” he said this Wednesday in an attempt to settle the matter.
After that 12-hour party, the 26-year-old striker said he was ill but the club did not accept it and he was left without training and did not play in the FA Cup against Newport. The club released a statement in which it said the footballer “assumed his responsibilities” and the case was closed.
“He has taken responsibility and otherwise it is an internal matter. Case closed.” When asked if Rashford disrespects him, he replied: “It has nothing to do with that, but like I said, let’s focus on the game, let’s move on. The statement is clear and we have to focus on winning football games.”
