The first Formula One Grand Prix was held at Silverstone in 1950 and the new deal will see the circuit enter its ninth decade.

“I am delighted to announce that the British Grand Prix will remain on the calendar for a further 10 years with this agreement,” said F1 CEO, Stefano Domenicali, it is a statement.

“Silverstone is an iconic venue at the heart of F1 history and as it approaches its ninth decade of hosting the Grand Prix, the event continues to attract fans from around the world for the spectacular on- racing track and incredible racing experience. the fans from it,” he added.

The 2024 British Grand Prix will be held from July 4 to 7, and last year’s race attracted a record crowd of 480,000 over the weekend.

“I am delighted that we have secured a 10-year extension to host the British Formula One Grand Prix at Silverstone,” said BRDC Chairman Peter Digby.

“This contractual security will provide a strong foundation for the future development of the venue, as we continue to improve and develop it into a year-round international motorsport and leisure destination.” he concluded.
