UEFA and Adidas presented this Monday the official ball that will be used in the knockout phase and the final of the 2023/2024 Champions League, which continues this week and will meet its champion on Saturday, June 1 at Wembley Stadium, in London.
The ‘UCL Pro Ball London’ ball features the innovative PRISMA surface texture, which gives players greater accuracy, along with an outer coating that offers a secure grip and total control. In addition, it features a seamless construction, with thermal bonding that guarantees maximum performance, according to UEFA in its statement.
Significant reference to London
The ball has a striking design featuring the host city, London, with colorful graphics showing two lions roaring and battling with the stars.
The Champions League continues tomorrow with two first leg matches in the round of 16: Leipzig-Real Madrid and Copenhagen-Manchester City. This ball will be used for the first time in both matches.
Wembley Stadium will host again for the third time, on Saturday June 1, after the 2011 and 2013 finals.
