The Dutch Femke Bol defeat himself world record in the 400 meters indoors this Sunday at the Dutch championship in Apeldoorn after completing his career in 49 seconds and 24 hundredths.
Femke Bol, double world champion in the 400 hurdles and 4×400 meters, was dropped two hundredths his own world record, established last winter on the same track. After achieving the best return of her career two weeks ago in Metz (49 sec 69), Femke Bol further improved last week’s time in Liévin (49.63).
Femke Bol, 23, is the big favorite for the Indoor World Championships in Glasgow (Scotland) in two weeks, the only international championship, beyond the Olympic Games, where she has not won.
