The German Alexander Zverevthe first seed, saved Thursday from 12 break points to defeat the Australian 6-3, 6-4 Thanasi Kokkinakis and qualify for semi-final of the Los Cabos Tennis Open (Mexico).
Kokkinakis, finalist in Los Cabos in 2017, played without complexes against the favorite. He showed a high level of tennis, but missed five break chances in the first set and seven more in the secondwhile Zverev He took advantage of his only break chance in the opening set and his first in the second.
