Carmelo Ezpeleta spoke on the possible sale of MotoGP to Liberty and Formula 1

In recent times, there has been a lot of talk about possibility of Liberty, owner of Formula 1, who offered to take over the services of MotoGP, owned by Dorna. However, the CEO of the latter company, Carmelo Ezpeletacame out against the rumors in statements for Spanish Television.

“Those are rumors and that’s what they say,” He said quietly when asked by the public entity. He did this with a smile after the Royal Spanish Motorcycle Federation gala, where, however, he did not deny that MotoGP is for sale.

“The majority of Dorna’s shareholders are investment funds, which buy things to sell them. We’ve always been sold, from day one.”, elaborated on this situation, although also not referring to an offer from Liberty. Therefore, we have to see how this situation evolves in the coming days.
