A 23-year-old from Neumarkt im Mühlkreis became stuck upside down in her car on Tuesday morning after her vehicle rolled over and became stuck in a tree. The driver was able to call acquaintances who ran to her and freed her from the accident car.
It is suspected that a rabbit caused the accident on Tuesday morning in Neumarkt im Mühlkreis. The animal ran onto the road and that’s why a 23-year-old in her car tried to swerve to the left.
However, the young driver veered off the road and fell over a steep embankment. Her vehicle overturned and remained on its roof; a tree prevented it from sliding further.
The driver called acquaintances
According to information from police, the 23-year-old was hanging upside down in her seat belt, but she was still able to reach for her cell phone and use it to call a friend. She started the rescue chain and arrived with her husband to the scene of the accident, where the couple were able to free the 23-year-old from the car. The rescue team then took the woman to the hospital in Freistadt.
The Freistadt and Lamm fire brigade took over the rescue of the accident vehicle.
