All heavily drunk – scuffle: hit on the head with a glass bottle

Date:

On the edge of the leisure fair in Klagenfurt, around midnight on Saturday, some visitors crashed into the fairgrounds. An argument also broke out in a staff apartment in Velden.

The spring festival, which runs parallel to the leisure fair, of course offers not only “fun for the whole family”, but also plenty to drink. So on Saturday, when the gates were closing, two drunk men got into a fight.

Drunk fights at the Messeplatz
“A 29-year-old from Klagenfurt was hit on the head several times by an unknown man and injured,” the police said. “An argument also escalated and a 32-year-old was hit on the head with a glass bottle by a 21-year-old from Klagenfurt.” The 32-year-old was injured in the process, but when a 16-year-old girl tried to settle the argument, he attacked her and injured the young woman from Klagenfurt on the hand. “Everyone involved was clearly very drunk,” police said. “The 29-year-old and the 32-year-old were taken to the Klagenfurt regional hospital by the rescue service.” All suspects must be reported to the public prosecutor’s office.

First a fight, then aggression against officials
In the shared staff house in Velden, a 31-year-old woman from Villach was punched in the face by a 24-year-old Afghan on Saturday evening. “The woman was injured in the face, but refused to ride with the ambulance,” police said. “A ban has been issued to approach and enter the apartment.”

But the official act didn’t seem to suit the 31-year-old. “She became increasingly aggressive and hot-tempered towards the intervening officers,” police said. “After several warnings, she was finally arrested and taken to Villach police prison.” Both report.
