Joan Mir (Honda RC 213 V9), 2020 MotoGP world champion, acknowledged on Tuesday that he is excited to start the new season and “get back to competing” this weekend at MotoGP Qatar Grand Prixthe first qualifying event of the motorcycle world championship.
“Another season is finally here! You’re always excited to start the year and compete again because there is nothing like riding a MotoGP and we had a good time between the test and this weekend to continue training and put everything in place to start the year,” highlighted Mir in his team’s press release.
“I’m happy with how everything has progressed and I am confident that we can continue to improve throughout the Qatar Grand Prixwhere we will try to build and focus on the important moments, because our goal is to start stronger than last season and in a positive way,” added Mir.
