The ninth edition of the women’s tour of Burgos It will be held from May 16 to 19, with four stages through the roads of the province of Burgos, with the participation of the best cyclists in the world circuit.
In this ninth edition, the presence of 15 World Tour teams and 2 invitationals is expected, a roster that can be expanded to a maximum of 24 teams.
The first of the stages will begin at Villagonzalo Pedernales and will end in Burgos, with the aim of giving importance to alfoz since 33% of the population practicing sports is in that area of the province.
The second will leave Briviesca and arrive at Medina of Pomar to appreciate the “essence of the Romanesque” and the interest in the “development of new routes and support for the Romanesque heritage in the northern area and La Bureba.”
The third will come Duero and reach Fernamental Melgar under the name taste of Rivera and Arlanza and where the attempt will be made to uphold the two designations of origin that the province of Burgos has.
