The new connecting railway as a missing piece of the puzzle for the dream of the S-Bahn ring around Vienna only becomes a reality, but only if the Öbb Hietzinger can convince new trees at their own reason. Nevertheless, the excavators must roll in September and end a nine -year manual.
The ÖBB is determined after years of legal position war: in September the construction of the new connecting train route will be a condition for an S-Bahn ring around Vienna. Firstly, the excavators roll between Titlgasse and Jagdschlossgasse (see image below). The competitive new high division must be ready in 2029, the Speising Station by 2031. This also means two new S -Bahn bridges and two covered road connections that become bicycles and pedestrians underpasses.
