Because a dispute had escalated in Linz on January 14, a North Macedonian had shot a Chechen – it was probably about drugs. But not only the perpetrator, but also the shot, must answer in court – but not because of an addictive poison.
“The victim was not in acute danger to life, but because of the direction of the shot and the weapon, the 43-year-old is tried to kill,” explains Florian Roitner, spokesperson for the Sta. Linz. The victim could have been seriously injured by the shot.
Shot by Windows
But from the front: on January 14, a Chechen (39) from Linz was shot by the open driver window of his BMW in the new house in Linz. “None of the two really responded. But it can be assumed that the crime was concerned with bets,” Roitner continued.
A big search with different house searches was not successful for the time being. The murder weapon is still missing.
It didn’t agree then shooters
The perpetrator, a North Macedonian, was caught only two months later in Switzerland. This was probably also as long as possible because the chips initially accused another as a shooter. That is why the shooting victim must be responsible at the Linz Regional Court on Friday.
Protection money blackmailed
He is accused of declarations of evidence and defamation accused in the meantime in custody and serious extortion. In April it is said that he has threatened the owner of a mobile phones store if he does not pay any protection money. There is still no agreement for the shooter’s process.
