Real Madrid’s Juvenil A will be looking this afternoon against Milan (4:00 pm, Movistar Champions League) to reach the Final Four of the Youth League in a single-match quarterfinal tie to be played at the Centro Sportivo Vismara in Milan.
The white team wants to achieve its fourth presence in the final stage of the tournament (it won its only title under Raúl in 2020 and was a semi-finalist in 2016 and 2017) against one of the competition’s bogeymen.
Álvaro Arbeloa’s team wants to assert its individual quality (Palacios, Fortea, Mesonero) and its team will play against a Milan led by bomber Francesco Caparda (16 years old) who has already made his debut today season with the seniors.
The white team has very sensitive losses such as Manuel Ángel and Iker Bravo due to suspension and also that of Nico Paz, absent from the competition since he debuted in the Champions League with the first team against Naples.
Real Madrid’s youth team topped their group, allowing them to go directly to the round of 16. In this round of the UEFA Youth League, they won 2-0 against RB Leipzig’s youth team in Valdebebas. Today, their opponent is Milan and if Arbeloa’s team advances to the playoffs, they will play the semifinal against the winner of Mainz-Porto. A semi-final and final will be played at the same venue, in Nyon, where both teams will try to access.
