Those detained in the operation of Civil Guard at the Spanish Football Federation, which is investigating alleged irregular contracts over the past five years during the presidency of Luis Rubiales.
The names of those arrested are as follows:
Pedro González Segura: He is a former Second B referee and serves as RFEF’s Legal Director. Person closely associated with Tomás González Cueto, the RFEF’s external legal advisor.
Ángel González Segura: He is Pedro’s brother and co-conspirator in the La Cartuja plot. He manages the company Grucomsa, one of the concessionaires of the remodeling works of La Cartuja, a stadium that hosts all the finals of the Copa del Rey and various matches of the Spanish team.
Tomas González Cueto: the Federation’s external legal counsel. He will be the author of the contract signed by RFEF with Saudi Arabia in 2019. UCO has also registered his personal office.
José Jiménez ‘Jota’: the Human Resources director of the Federation and personal friend of Luis Rubiales.
Ramon Caravaca: Criminal lawyer in charge of RFEF criminal proceedings.
Luis Rubiales: The former RFEF president left his position as a result of the ‘Jenni Hermoso case’. He is in the Dominican Republic, where he will be extradited.
