The war between the arch enemies of Israel and Iran continues. In the night of Saturday, Iran shot dozens of rockets to the Jewish state (see video above). There are reports about different fatalities. Air defense became active again in the Iranian capital Tehran.
In Tel Aviv and Jerusalem the shelves of the air cried shortly before the day of the day. The residents hurried in the hiding places. The Israeli army said that air defense was against Iranian rockets. “In the last hour, dozens of rockets from Iran were fired at the state of Israel, some of which were intercepted.”
According to Israeli media hit a rocket in Tel Aviv. Buildings in Israel were also destroyed. The result: according to the Israeli rescue workers, at least three people were killed in the attacks and 45 injured.
Rocket met a house
On Saturday morning a rocket in the city of Rishon Lezion in the center of the country. She met a residential building there. According to the initial information from the Israeli emergency services, there are two dead and at least 20 injuries (see items below). It was already the third wave of Iran attacks against Israel.
Israel attacks the airport in Tehran
But Israel also went into the offensive: according to reports, air defense became active again in the capital of Iran, Tehran. Eyewitnesses and local media reported explosions in the center and northeast of the city of the million. The Fars News Agency reports that two floors have hit Mehrabad airport in Tehran. Other Iranian media report flames in the airport area.
Expert in the Middle East increases the alarm
According to an expert, the war between Iran and Israel has already reached historical dimensions and deposited the Middle East in an unprecedented escalation spiral. “The region has never been as close to a full surface fire as now,” says Ali Vaez, head of the Iran department of the Thinktank International Crisis Group, the Arabian Omroep Al Jazeera.
“Iran still has an attack potential”
It is unclear how many weapons and defense systems from their archenemy the Israelis have destroyed, Vaez said. Iran certainly still has an attack potential and not only has one of the most developed and most extensive arsenals of marching air bodies in the Middle East, but also strong allies in the region such as the Huthi militia in Yemen. The Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas and the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon are also largely supported by Tehran.
“If this continues, it can quickly become very ugly,” Vaez warned. The most important attack of Israel has given the Iranian power apparatus a serious blow, “but that does not mean that it means the kind of paralysis or on the regime that Israel hopes”. If the number of victims continues to rise and Americans who live in Israel are also killed, it will also be “very difficult” for the American government not to get to the military conflict.
