On Saturday morning a machine from the Sundar Airline returned to Bremen Airport shortly after the start. The reason was a light steam that remarked the crew on board. “After 13 minutes, passengers found an unpleasant odor stop in the cabin,” said a Sundial spokeswoman.
According to her, the trigger was a remaining moisture in an engine that was routinely washed on Friday. For security reasons, the crew decided to return to Bremen airport in North Germany. The plane, which started at 6 am, should actually fly to Palma de Mallorca with 146 passengers.
Nobody was injured in the incident. Medical help was offered but not required, said an airport spokesperson. A replacement machine was organized to continue the trip to Palma de Mallorca. The passengers were also offered food and drinks. “When the replacement machine was announced, there was applause,” said the spokesperson for the airport.
