Peter Lim’s rejection of Valencianismo reaches Times Square

Date:

First in Valencia, then in London and now played in New York. Valencianismo is not tired of asking for the departure of Peter Lim of the Mestalla club and this Thursday the Col·lectiu de Penyes Valencianistes caused one of the big screens in Times Square to show the fans’ dissatisfaction with the Singaporean tycoon.

With a yellow background and the motto “This bad dream must end”, the new Valencian club association shows its rejection Lim and his economic, sports and social management and denounced, now in New York, the abandonment of the Mestalla club in the past five years.

The motto, which was shown for a few seconds on the Times Square screen, was accompanied by a shield in the shape of the emblem of Valencia, but instead of Valencia CF It said “Meriton” and instead of a soccer ball, it had a dollar sign to exemplify that, in the eyes of Valencianism, Peter Lim He just wants to do business with the club.

Also, at least five Valencians wearing Mickey Mouse or Mario Bros costumes also displayed banners against Lim and they carry the flag of the new peñista group, which left the Association of Peñas because they understood that they were too flexible in Lim.

This is not the first action by fans of the Mestalla entity to cross the borders of the Valencian Community. Just a few months ago, the city of London woke up to a van that paraded around the British capital with the slogan “Peter Lim Singapore, Valencia CF tragic tale.”

The car carries the motto on its back and goes around Big Ben, the Singapore embassy or the Singapore stadium. Chelseaamong many other places in the capital, in an action sponsored by It Must Be Love 86 and Libertad VCF.

Despite the club’s “good” sporting moment, far from the positions in which the team has historically established itself but improved on the disappointing last season, where the Valencia Salvation is at stake in the last day, Valencianismo continues to demand the departure of the largest shareholder every day.

In fact, on March 2, the city of Valencia experienced the demonstration against Lim bigger, where around 20,000 people took to the streets to, from City Hall Square and up to the Mestalla, denounce Singaporean rule.
