Toni Bou achieved a new victory this Friday in the X-Trial World Championship. The world champion won in Nice with his third victory of the season.
The 34-time World Champion started the day in Nice in the best way. From the first lap, Toni Bou led the classification, adding only one penalty point.
For the second pass, the Repsol Honda rider maintained the same level and qualified directly to compete in the final with Gabriel Marcelli and Jaime Busto.
After being unbeatable in all parts of the final round, the Montesa Cota 4RT rider climbed to the top of the podium in front of the French public.
“I am very happy with this new victory, the team worked very well all week. It was a difficult day because it was so easy to miss in the final, but we stayed very consistent, with only one mistake in the second round. The final was fantastic, where we drove at a very good level. “We are on a good path and we have to keep working,” he declared after the test.
With the results obtained in Nice, Bou leads the overall standings with 65 pointshe extended his distance to 22 points with respect to second place Jaime Busto.
The next test the pilots will face in the X-Trial World Championship is on May 4 in GenevaSwitzerland, which will be the last event before the championship break.
