2-1: Argentona beat Banyoles and added a sixth consecutive victory

Sixth victory in a row for an Argentona who did not disappoint against a Banyoles that arrived severely reduced in casualties. The locals took the lead after half an hour of play with a great move by David Yustos who left three players behind and left the ball on a plate for Badr to push into the net. Before the break, goalkeeper Martí kept out the second. Already in the second half, a knockdown on Ignasi in the area allowed Dembo to score the tie with a penalty. But the visitors’ joy was short-lived, as five minutes later, Èric Lobato collected a beautiful cross into the area to make it 2-1.

Bescanó-Mollet 1-2

Bescanó failed to make sense and lost at home against Mollet. The locals sent two balls to the post and had two more clear chances, but were denied in front of goal. Mollet took the lead in the first half with a shot from Christian Rueda that hit a defender and slipped into the net. After the break, Mollet scored again with another shot from Christian Rueda, which after hitting the post, went in. Bescanó only managed to close the gap thanks to a penalty converted by Brice.

Montcada suffered a heavy loss and succumbed to a Blanes team that took advantage of one of its very few chances. The visiting team scored the only goal in an isolated game, thanks to Marc Güera’s breakthrough. The locals missed countless opportunities to, at least, level the contest.
