The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) seeks to disassociate itself from all responsibilities that may arise from the conduct and irregular decision of former president Luis Rubiales, as announced this Wednesday in a statement.
The federative body assures that “it will raise the management committee launching a forensic audit regarding any type of contract that may be suspect due to the actions of its former president, Luis Rubiales”.
The Federation wants to show “its total detachment from irregular behavior and action of its former president and all those who may be involved, as well as insisting that this institution is superior to its leaders.
In this line of separation of the paths of the organism from the actions of Rubiales, the president of the management company, Pedro Rocha, Considering that “it is important to separate and isolate the institution from the alleged criminal behavior,” it also ensures that “any existing responsibility will be lost until the end.”
