The International Cycling Union (UCI) has given the highest possible rating in the organization of Return to the Valencian Community Gran Premi Banc Sabadell, after recently contested its 75th edition last February.
This is stated in the report of analysis sent by the UCI to the organizational team led by former cyclist Ángel Caserowhich highlights the work carried out in areas such as security, route, accommodation of the teams and, finally, the general organization of the event.
The news was very well received by the testing organization, whose short and medium goal is to continue climbing the UCI stage race classification categories.
Besides, The VCV Féminas, a one-day test in the UCI 1.1 category, also received a high rating. which was held simultaneously on Sunday, February 4, and was a pioneer in equality between men and women in sport.
The UCI report on the test highlights “the multitude of spectators on the course and at the finish line, as well as the promotion of the race through other competitions aimed at fans and children, and the high level of organization and competition.”
