This Wednesday, the Higher Sports Council received the Association of Golf Professionals of Spain (PGA), which presented the new image of the TUMI Spain Golf Tour professional circuit sponsored by the TUMI brand, a brand specialized in manufacturing and luxury luggage. It is the official luggage of the American PGA Tour and the USA Women’s LPGA and now joins the PGA of Spain and its national professional golf circuit.
Ander Martínez, president of the PGA, presented the new stage of the professional circuit, which we remember is open to men and women, thanks to the private sponsorship and the trust placed in what is the oldest association of players in Spain; as well as public support from the CSD, in the field of training and in creating new ways of development and professional opportunities for golfers.
Ignacio Miranda Álvarez-Pickman, General Director of TUMI, emphasized: “I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this great circuit and to be a travel companion. “We participate in the American PGA Tour and the LPGA and we are especially pleased to collaborate with the PGA of Spain on this great circuit.”
The next PGA event is the acquired XXXV Spanish PGA Championship which will be held in Córdoba on May 2, 3 and 4 at the Córdoba Country Club.
