Bou, 17 times world champion outdoors and as many indoors, won the ‘Geneva Arena’ with 22 penalty points in the final where he defeated his compatriot and teammate. Gabriel Marcelli (26) and the British Toby Martyn (28).
To reach the final, Bou was first runner-up in round 1, ahead of Marcelli. He took the lead after round 2, putting him in the final with Marcelli and Martyn.
The Catalan joins this success with those previously achieved in Barcelona, Chalon-sur-Saone and Nice (France).
Bou leads the World Cup with authority, now with 86 points, 31 more than Marcelli and 34 ahead of another Spaniard, Jaime Busto (Gas Gas).
The X-Trial World Championship now opens its long break and resumes on October 5 at the ‘Unibet Arena’ in Tallinn.
