The Premier League has announced the list of eight players nominated for the best football player this season. Of the eight, one played in LaLiga. From now on, you can vote behind the Premier’s own website.
Among the nominees are two Manchester City players: Erling Haaland and Phil Foden. Two from Arsenal, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice. One from Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk. One from Chelsea, Cole Palmer. One of Aston Villa, Ollie Watkins. And from Newcastle, Alexander Isak, who played for Real Sociedad between 2019 and 2022, when he was transferred for 70 million euros to Newcastle.
It should be noted that no more and no less than four Spanish coaches are on the Premier League’s list of five nominees for this season’s best coach: Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery and Andoni Iraola.
