Serious traffic accident in the Vienna Forest: On Wednesday evening, two fully occupied cars collided on the country road in Sieghartskirchen. Three people were injured in the crash, some seriously, and a 19-year-old was trapped in the wreckage. She had to be freed by the fire brigade.
Between Rappoltenkirchen and Pressbaum, a young motorist from the Tulln district drove into the opposite lane for an unknown reason around 8:30 p.m. There, the 18-year-old’s car, which contained a total of four people, collided with an oncoming vehicle. The driver, a 48-year-old man from the Mödling area, was injured in the collision. His passenger was shocked.
The 18-year-old was treated on the spot by rescuers, while his passenger (19) from the St. Pölten district suffered more serious injuries.

The young woman even had to be freed from the car by the fire brigade before she could receive emergency medical attention. She was flown by rescue helicopter to the hospital in Vienna-Meidling.
