Barcelona will experience F1 like never before. The aim is to take F1 beyond the Circuit, to involve the City of Barcelona to make 2024 “the best F1 GP that Catalonia has hosted”, in the words of the Minister of Business and Employment and president of the Circuit, Roger Torrent. To achieve this, there will be a Fan Village in Plaça Catalunya from June 15 to 22, free and open to citizens whether they are fans or not, with gastronomic and cultural offerings, music concerts, simulators and merchandising .
And this is particularly so in the so-called ‘Fan Forums’ in Plaça Catalunya where in the afternoon of June 19, after the exhibition, the drivers of the World Championship will come for a while to interact with the fans.
But the main event is the F1 exhibition in Passeig de Gràcia on the 19th, where 3 or 4 cars will participate in it, like the identity of drivers and cars. The pits will be located at Ronda Universitat and the circuit will follow a route along Passeig de Gràcia from Plaça Catalunya to the emblematic Casa Batlló, less than a kilometer away. In the neighboring Casa Amatller, where the F1 Barcelona Fan Festival was held this Tuesday, there will be a VIP tribune to follow this exhibit.

Also attending the event was the man in charge of market and racing development for F1, Kate Hodgkinson who wanted to highlight that “it is good to see the cooperation between the circuit and the city.” And he remembered that “the Spanish market is very important for F1, we have two drivers like Fernando and Carlos who strengthen the link between the fans and F1. The arrival of Madrid is also important to get more fans and we will continue to talk with Barcelona”, thus highlighting, with his presence at this event, that the contract renewal for beyond 2026 is still in place.
