Badalona left the pass on the track

Badalona gained a crucial advantage going into next Sunday’s second leg in Vilassar.

In the first action, the scapulated box was one hundred percent effective, because on its only occasion, Toni Larrosa launched from the front to climb the first. Vilassar controlled the game but missed three good chances. Júnior, crouched, watched as Craviotto intervened. Montalbán fired high into the small area and Monterde hit a well-centred shot that sent Craviotto into the corner.

It was a first half with clear dominance by Vilassar who looked for an equalizer at the start of the second half with a header from Aleix Díaz that hit the crossbar. The situation changes and Badalona starts to have more arrivals. Larrosa finished a great action, eventually cut under pressure from the goalkeeper and a defender, and scored 2-0. The second goal did a lot of damage to Vilassar, who lost the ball in the defensive zone, and the young Juan Valverde faced the goalkeeper one-on-one, to go up to the third.
