The Spanish Pedro Acosta (Gas Gas RC 16) arrives at the Catalunya Grand Prix which takes place this weekend at the ‘Catalunya-Montmeló’ circuit with the desire to make up for ‘frustration’ he felt after his crash at the French Le Mans circuit.
“Le Mans was a rather disappointing weekend since the bike was ready to reach the head of the race, but I arrived at Montmeló with more enthusiasm and with clear ideas, so I will try to have a good Friday, continue on saturday and finish on sunday”Acosta pointed out in his team’s press release.
“We will see how we manage the tires throughout the weekend on a circuit with little grip, luckily in these first five races I have learned more about this thing”said Acosta, who said he had “I’m really looking forward to the weekend.”
Augusto Fernandezhis partner in the Gas Gas team, is said to be “I am excited to go to Montmeló, home grand prix for me, after Le Mans, where the results were not what we wanted, but there are some positive aspects because I feel better on the bike and my riding.”
“Barcelona is a track I like, we had good results last season so I can’t wait to start working, so I’m excited to ride there and enjoy the atmosphere of the grand prix”indicates Augusto Fernández in the same team record.
