BWT’s Marxa 3 Nations, ready for its 44th edition, doubles its commitment to sustainability

At 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, the starting signal will be given from Puigcerdà Sports Center, With direction to Andorra, tour of the Pyrenees. This year, the edition will highlight sustainability and respect for the magnificent environment it covers. For the first time, we will have a Scavenger Hunt, a group of cyclists who will close the peloton by collecting any packaging that accidentally falls, promoting a clean and ecological event. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of keeping natural spaces litter-free and guarantee the beauty of the landscape for future editions.

Furthermore, after the great reception of the previous edition, up to 450 meters of the 3 tunnels will once again be lit with 100% renewable energy, prioritizing the safety of the participants while minimizing the impact on the environment.

Famous faces to participate in the 44th edition

In addition to José Antonio Hermida, who is the visible face of March, will also be joined by former cyclists recognized as Juanjo Lobato, Joaquim (Purito) Rodríguez, Oliver Avilés, and other professional athletes who practice cycling such as MotoGP motorcyclists Alex Rins and the young promise Marco Morelli. They will be joined by other two-wheeled legends such as Alberto Puig and Carlos Checa. Other well-known faces of sport such as Eder Sarabia, soccer coach, or Andorran skier Joan Verdú, will also be present. They all joined more than 2,000 cyclists who make up the 3 Nations.
