A fatal fall from his bike left him without the Euro Cup

The Czech midfielder Michal Sadilek will disappear European Cup after suffering a leg injury while riding a bicycle on Saturday, the Czech national team reported on Sunday. The accident occurred at the team’s training camp in Schladming, Austria. Coach Ivan Hasek announced that the Twente footballer suffered a laceration in the leg area and is out.

The 25-year-old was one of seven players who were part of the Czech team that reached the quarterfinals at the previous European Championship. He played 24 international matches for the Czechs and scored one goal. Hasek said a decision will be made soon on who might replace him.
