The Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy, runner-up at the US Open, has regained his position as Scottie Scheffler’s guardnumber one in the world golf rankings for another week, while fellow American Bryson DeChambeau, winner of Pinehurst no.2, is in the ‘top 10’.
