Nico Williams is off the charts

Date:

Nico Williams price is increasing by the minute. The Athletic striker left Gelsenkirchen yesterday for the match between Spain and Italy. Navarrese, who brought the transalpine defense to the street from bitterness, was elected MVP of the match.

Unai Simón, however, became another spectator in this clash that was dominated and controlled until almost the final whistle by Luis de la Fuente’s team. Vivian was about to enter the field in the 84th minute, but the Spanish coach quickly changed his mind and ordered him back to the bench. Mikel Merino was finally selected to complete the substitute quota at La Roja.

From almost kick-off it was clear that little Williams had come out crooked. Before the 2nd minute he put a good ball on Pedri’s head and made a trademark attack on the wing. This is just the beginning of a real recital.

Di Lorenzo, their marker, was powerless throughout the first half to stop the Athletic forward. Forward almost opened the scoring with a header that just missed. Nico and Yamal, by the way, were once again in charge of executing a good portion of Spain’s set-piece actions, especially the corners.

Spalletti, aware that most of the danger for De la Fuente’s students came from the wing of little Williams, opted to change his team’s right wing by bringing on Cambiaso to place him ahead of Di Lorenzo. Nico, despite everything, continued what he was doing. From his center, in fact, came the goal of the Spanish victory.

His pass was slightly headed by Morata, the ball bounced off Calafiori and into the back of the Italian’s goal. Nico Williams, who lasted until the 78th minute on the grass, managed to cover himself in glory moments before a great shot ended up hitting the crossbar. Navarrese prices are rising.
