Tabilo, who won his second ATP title in Mallorca after one in Auckland (New Zealand), entered the history of Chilean tennis by being the first player of this nationality to win a title on grass. His success will also put him in the twenty best tennis players in the world next week. The first Chilean player to play in three consecutive finals since the beginning of this year on different surfaces: grass, hard court and clay, cemented his victory over Ofner on the stability of its service.
