Bild: Nagelsmann’s second explosion in the referees’ room!

Date:

In Germany the elimination of European Cup in the hands of Spain. Many regret the English performance Anthony Taylor, which they criticize, above all, for what they consider a penalty in their favor (not called) due to Marc Cucurella’s handball in the area. Many, like Julian Nagelsmann himself and some former players, were quick to show their disagreement and anger.

A quarter of an hour after the final whistle – and as published by ‘Bild’ this Saturday – the assistant coach of the German team, Sandro Wagner, entered the referee room to protest and insult Taylor. At the same time, silence reigned in the German dressing room itself for a long time. The exception is the speech of Joshua Kimmich and Toni Kroos, who is ending his international career (he has retired from Real Madrid).

Less than an hour after the confrontation, Taylor – or the ‘scandal judge’, as ‘Bild’ wrote – left the stadium in a black Mercedes, in a hurry and without speaking to the press. The newspaper wrote that Emre Can was the first player to leave. He also didn’t want to say, “I’m sorry.” Soon after, Julian Nagelsmann boarded the team bus. On the way, a security agent tries to comfort him.

Half an hour later, the last German international left, leaving a “sad image.” According to ‘Bild’, an open package of rice cakes, half a banana, a package of Nagelsmann’s favorite chewing gum and a bag of dates. In the massage room there is a can of beer in the trash.
