Davis Thompson, new leader of the John Deere Classic

The American Davis Thompsonwith a return of 62 strokes, nine under par, for 192 (-21) the new leader of John Deere Classic in Silvis (Illinois), tournament of PGA Tourat the end of the third day.

Thompson leads the runners-up by two strokes, his compatriot Eric Cole (62) and English Aaron Rai.
