The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and League F have reached a historical agreement with the signature of first Coordination Agreement between the two organizations, which became approved this Thursday at clubs of the First Division of women’s football in Assembly and will be presented in detail in the coming weeks.
This first agreement result of consensus and dialogue of the new phase of the RFEF and Liga F will regulate the relationship between the federative body and Liga F during the next three years and addresses various key issues related to the organization of professional competition women’s soccer, arbitration or support and contribution to be awarded by League F and its Clubs to Clubs participating in non-professional women’s football competitions. Also, the agreement reflects the commitment and RFEF bet with the women’s professional football project.
The signing of this agreement means that the Resolution of Higher Sports Councilwhich regulated the relations between the RFEF and Liga F, dropped and a regulatory framework which responds to this new phase of understanding and reconciliation in which Spanish football finds itself.
