The opening ceremony of the Paría 2024 Olympic Games did not leave anyone indifferent. There was much criticism at the beginning for being unconventional and too tedious, and praise for its ending.
Various reactions on social media and one of the most prominent this Saturday morning was the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, who did not hesitate to lash out violently through the social network ‘X’ against the moment in which he represented ‘The Last Supper’, something which not only received the disapproval of the president of the employers’ association for being frivolous and unnecessary.
“Unacceptable, disrespectful, disgusting! Using the image of the Last Supper at the Paris Olympics is an insult to us Christians. Where is the respect for religious beliefs? #Respect #Olympics,” wrote Thickness.
