Meeting with Netanyahu – Trump warns of “3. World War” in case of electoral defeat

Date:

Former US President Donald Trump warned of a “third world war” if his Republicans failed to win the presidential election during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He also defended himself against suggestions that he was injured in the ear by something other than a bullet in the attack. The 78-year-old currently has 49 percent approval ratings, compared to 47 percent for Kamala Harris, according to a poll.

Former US President Donald Trump warned of a “third world war” if his Republicans did not win the presidential election during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“If we win, everything will be very easy. Everything will be fine and very quickly,” said Trump, who hosted Netanyahu and his wife at his Florida home on Friday. “If we don’t win, there will be major wars in the Middle East, and maybe Harris has been pushing for a ceasefire by now.”

The reception at Trump’s Florida estate was warm. The Republican presidential candidate posed for a photo with a thumbs-up. In a photo released by Netanyahu, he held a cap with the inscription “Total Victory” — the goal the head of government had set in the Gaza war.

“The country is ruled by incompetent people”
Trump on Friday took a sharp shot at his political opponents from the Democrats. “Our country is run by incompetent people,” he said. Harris, who is likely to be Trump’s opponent in the November presidential election, is even worse than Biden and a “liar” (see video above).

“It was a bullet that hit me – hard!”
He also defends himself against the suggestion that he was injured in the ear by something other than a bullet in the attack.

“No, unfortunately it was a bullet that hit my ear, and it hit my ear hard. There was no glass or splinters,” the 78-year-old wrote on his online mouthpiece Truth Social. Trump’s former personal physician, Ronny Jackson, echoed Trump’s statement: “There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet.”

As is well known, a gunman opened fire and shot Trump almost two weeks ago during a campaign event in the city of Butler, Pennsylvania. The incident was an escalation in the already heated American election campaign.

Poll sees Trump at 49 percent, Harris at 47 percent
Trump currently holds a two percentage point lead over Harris in the race for the US presidency, according to a new Wall Street Journal poll.

However, Trump’s lead over President Joe Biden, who withdrew from the race for the November presidential election a few days ago, was larger in the previous survey.
