Dramatic scenes took place on Saturday in the Walgaubad in Nenzing (Vorarlberg). Almost a child would have drowned there, luckily it could just be re -inimated. However, the behavior of the parents raises some questions.
At temperatures after 30 degrees Celsius, the jump in the cooling water is recommended. This also thought that a Hungarian family with four children aged two, seven, nine and twelve and the Walgaubad visited. At one point during the day, the seven -year -old daughter said goodbye – unnoticed by the parents – and approached a seductive swimming flow in the form of a flamingo that was on the edge of the swimming pool. Then the girl, who deadly does not wear swimming aid, succeeds the flamingo. This then drove a few meters down, the girl fell into the water.
40 seconds motionless under water
This was followed by dramatic scenes, which are exactly documented by video -recordings: the seven -year attempt to float for two minutes and then sank to the deep background of 1.30 meters. The girl floated under water for 40 seconds before a bathing guest discovered the immobile little body – the man pulled the child out of the pelvis and immediately started resuscitation.
Parents have nothing of all this
After three resuscitation cycles, the seven -year -old -old returned to life. Then we went with the rescue helicopter to the State Hospital Feldkirch, where it was immediately brought into the shock. And what about the parents? Quote from the police report: “The parents have never had a view of the child and only got acquainted with the incident when their daughter had already been re -inimated.” The case will probably have a judicial aftermath for them.
