Libertadores: Palmeiras put Botafogo on the ropes

The Rio de Janeiro club came into the game with a win in the first leg and won three of the last five games in ‘Brasileirao’, the last with a 4-1 win against Flamengo. Meanwhile, Palmeiras, three-time Libertadores champions, host the rival after winning two of their last five games in the tournament in Brazil.
