UEFA has agreed to reduce the maximum ticket prices local clubs can charge visiting fans in three men’s club competitions, the Champions League, Europa League and Conference. According to a statement from the continental body, this is “a decision that outlines UEFA’s commitment to making European football more accessible and affordable for all fans” and that is “supported by UEFA Club Competitions Committee.”

Starting this season, the maximum ticket price for visiting fans will be 60 euros in the Champions League, 40 in the Europa League and 20 in the Conference. These prices will be reduced in the next 2025/26 campaign, to 50, 35 and 20.
UEFA added that this decision came after “extensive consultation with the European Club Association (ECA) and Football Supporters Europe (FSE), and is part of a wider collective work to improve the fan experience at European competitions and reflects a shared commitment between UEFA and stakeholders to always put the fans first.”
The Slovenian Alexander Ceferinpresident of UEFA, emphasizes that this agreement “represents another important step to reaffirm the commitment” of the organization “to improve the experience of all fans on match day” and that in this kind of more fan-friendly policies they continue their “mission to maintain football as an inclusive sport where fans who travel across Europe to follow their teams are valued and recognised.”
Nasser Al-Khelaifipresident of the ECA, indicated that the reduction of the maximum ticket price for visiting fans “is an important signal from all the clubs” that are members of the organization he leads to “actively contribute to the improvement of the general experience matches for fans”.
