HRC and Repsol have remained together in the MotoGP World Championship for over three decades. Today, during the San Marino Grand Prix race, the news was confirmed: HRC and Repsol will part ways at the end of this year.
“Repsol has decided not to renew the current sponsorship contract with Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) in the MotoGP World Championship, which ends on December 31 of this year”they talk. The sponsorship with the longest history has ended and the relationship between the two companies will be terminated.
Repsol would like to thank HRC for its commitment and dedication during all these years of collaboration. “The Repsol Honda Team is the most successful team in the history of the championshipwith 11 team titles, 15 drivers’ titles and 183 victories in cycling’s main category,” Repsol said in a statement.
“The multi-energy company will continue to be associated with motor racingwith the aim of continuously developing products and services of the highest quality”, concluded Repsol.
