FIFA announced on Thursday that Lay’s will be the official sponsor of the 2026 Men’s World Cup, which will be jointly organized by the United States, Mexico and Canada; and the 2027 Women’s World Cup, to be held in Brazil.
FIFA emphasized in a statement “the international leap” that this official sponsorship of Lay’s represents as the French fry multinational becomes the continental promoter of the 2022 Men’s World Cup in Qatar and the tournament promoter of the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
