The personal deadline for endorsements for the RFEF presidency ended at five in the afternoon.

At five o’clock in the afternoon the deadline for presenting the RFEF presidential endorsements in person ended. A deadline that, in the case of doing so electronically, extends to 11:59 pm tonight, in accordance with RFEF election regulations, and within the deadline that began on Thursday.

Except this surprise María Angeles Garcia “Yaye”vice president of the last Board of Directors and now at the head of the Management Committee, the only candidate. Both he, and any other candidate who wishes to do so, must present 15% of the endorsements of the 138 members. It assumes the support of 20 members of the assembly who can only endorse one candidate. The meeting of the RFEF Electoral Commission is now open to study the candidacies and publicize their provisional proclamation. Wednesday the 18th is the time for challenges before TAD ends. If there is only one candidate, there will be a president on September 27. If not, he will be elected by the Assembly on October 7.
