Real Madrid is already looking forward to this Saturday’s Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu (9:00 pm, DAZN) after the home’s trademark return to the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund (5-2). Carlo Ancelotti’s team trained this Wednesday morning at Valdebebas Sports City without the injured Courtois and Rodrygo, who did not welcome Barcelona.
The white club announced that the Belgian goalkeeper has an adductor injury in his left leg and will be out for two to three weeks. Rodrygo, who sustained a hamstring injury, will undergo tests this Thursday to determine the exact extent of the injury.
The good news for Real Madrid is that Brahim Díaz has been able to do part of the training with the rest of the group and all indications are that he will make Ancelotti’s list for the Classic. The man from Malaga suffered a muscle injury in mid-September.
In the training session, the starters against Dortmund did recovery work in the gym and on the pitch and the rest did a physical series under the command of Antonio Pintus and later did tactical work and games. The injured Courtois, Alaba and Carvajal continued their recovery processes.
