Brentford had a crazy match against Ipswich Town going down 0-2 and ending up scoring 4-3 in the 96th minute.
Bryan Mbeumo’s double, along with goals from Yoane Wissa and an own goal from Harrison Clarke, defeated Ipswich ‘Tractors’, who promised themselves a lot of fun after the first thirty minutes of the game.
With two counterattacks, Ipswich took a 0-2 lead, with goals from Sammie Szmodics and George Hirst, and had chances to extend the lead and surely put the game to bed.
However, they breathed life into Brentford, who were also quickly level within a minute. First it was Wissa, who completed a great horizontal pass and then the Congolese striker also scored in front of the Ipswich goalkeeper. The ball was dragged into the goal by a defender and the goal was awarded to Harrison Clarke as an own goal.
After the break, Brentford looked to have completed the comeback when Mbeumo made it 3-2 and Clarke completed his game to forget by sending off for a double yellow.
Despite having one less player, Liam Delap, who already has four goals in this Premier League, grabbed a cross from Leif Davis with his finger and tied the match in the 86th minute.
At the buzzer, Mbeumo put in a cross from the front that found no finisher and slipped into Arijanet Muric’s goal, confirming the victory for the ‘Bees’, who moved up to ninth place with thirteen points.
Ipswich, who have games in hand at Crystal Palace and Southampton, are seventeenth, with four points after nine games.
