Manresa temporarily regained the sole leadership of the category after the postponement of the Reus FC Reddis match, after beating Cerdanyola with some comfort to take the lead for the first time.
Although Mikel Azparren’s side were surprised by the initial goal from former player Javi López, who struck with a header, the truth is that the Manresans dominated their rivals and only in the last half of the match did Cerdanyola disrupt the Polishing purpose.
Shortly after 0-1, at quarter of an hour, Moha took advantage of a lapse on the part of the visiting defense with their goalkeeper to establish the tie. From here, local chances would follow each other, and it was very clear, as Moha had, that crossed too far out of the area and was unmarked. Aleix Díaz tried it on several occasions and finally scored on the stroke of half-time to make it 2-1.
After the restart, Manresa maintained its dominance. In the 63rd minute, Tom Diawara could have scored but after a great play he sent the ball into the cloud. With the more conservative Manresans, Pau Yáñez was able to equalize in added time.
