Palencia closed its doors as the headquarters of National Club Open 2024 which, sponsored by Royal Spanish Boxing Federation (RFEBoxeo)the sport had the largest participation in the history of amateur boxing competition since records began.
More than half a thousand boxers from all weight categories (elite, youth, junior and schoolboys/girls) gathered from October 28 to November 2 in Mariano Haro Pavilion of the capital of Palencia.
Eighty-two (82) clubs from seventeen (17) Autonomous Communities fought in five days for the championship belt and for the best classified club in Spain according to the results. In this sense, the Madrid club Ludus won the first place cup, followed by the Sevillian club Kaká Boxing and Segundos Fuera de Illescas.
There are five double days in the morning and afternoon from October 29 to November 2 in three rings with free public admission to the event at the Mariano Haro Pavilion in Palencia. The event was made possible thanks to the massive institutional support of the same City Council of Palencia, as well as the Provincial Council of Palencia and the Junta de Castilla y León, as well as the Boxing Federation of Castilla y León.
